I bought some maternity stuff for the first time today. The rumor is that today's maternity clothes are stylish and attractive. I beg to differ. You could practically tell where the maternity section began by the confluence of ugly patterns. I only went to two stores but that sample wasn't encouraging. I did find a couple of nice tops eventually. One good thing about maternity clothes is they are long enough to cover your stomach. My belly is starting to play peek-a-boo with some of my other shirts. I also found a super-soft pajama set, non-maternity, that I'm excited about wearing. If the only clothes I ever had to buy were sweaters and pajamas I'd never have trouble finding things.
The inauguration is tomorrow. A historic day.
