It's happened. I have a cold while pregnant. I've been so gloriously without colds so far I thought I was going to make it all the way through. I thought I was having a really bad allergy day. Then tonight all of a sudden it dawned on me; this isn't allergies, this is a damn sneaking cold pretending to be allergies! When I have a cold does the baby have a cold, too?

I spent the evening watching Russell Brand videos on youtube. So I got to laugh a lot, anyway. Him explaining why he's not gay despite all external appearances on Letterman: funny. He has such a deft touch with words, is so specific and fluent and inventive with language--I am quite taken with how he expresses himself. I read the first chapter of My Booky Wook at Barnes and Noble. Will find a way by hook or by crook to read in full My Booky Wook.
