36 Week Appointment

We had our 36 week appointment this morning with Lauren. Everything is going well. The baby is still in the right position. Lauren doesn't think it's an overly big baby, which would be nice. The belly measurement (mine, of course) is right on track. My blood pressure was down (the upper number was higher than usual last time) so that's good, too. The dizziness is caused by fluctuations in blood pressure and blood sugar. I'm supposed to eat every two to three hours to help the blood sugar. She confirmed I had a Braxton-Hicks experience the other day when we went for a long walk. She said a variation in types of B-H contractions is normal so it wasn't so strange that they were painful and right on top of each other. She said walking is often a catalyst. It turns out she is using the same pediatrician we are considering and likes them very much. They came and toured the birth center last year and she says they're the only pediatricians who have done that. They're over on Jollyville, so pretty close.

Tired today but feeling a lot better than last night.
