The shower rocked. It was a beautiful tea mostly put together by Mom, some heavy lifting by Dad, and some last-minute magic by Carolyn. We had the pink linen tablecloth, which made me happy. I would have gobbled down, I mean delicately nibbled, on more of the tea sandwiches if I'd known they would be all eaten up. We didn't have time for a few of the games, but that was okay. With that many people you have to roll with it. We did the "Guess William or Kristen" game again, with different examples from our lives which people had to guess who they had happened to. They guessed William on who got violently ill on tequila at 21. Ha! Fooled them. Plus we did "Guess which baby is whom" from baby pictures from the guests. And "Guess how much the baby will weigh and what sex it will be," for a $20 prize. I didn't realize it was so much guessing. Then the other game was to draw a picture of the baby, which the crowd didn't seem too excited about at first but we got some great pictures in the end.
The presents were lovely and it seems like we have so much more of what we need now. Like I told William, now we can dress, transport, diaper, swaddle, wipe, and entertain the baby with all the cool stuff. Plus the car seat Mom and Dad got us is now in the car so that relieves my mind.
William and I got coordinating pajamas yesterday, both blue (not shower gifts, of course). That's a first. Margi would be proud.
Okay. Back to thank you notes.

Thanks for a good time. I don't know how to draw though, actually I can draw landscapes and that's about it.
